This safari allows you to experience the world greatest wildlife spectacle in Maasai Mara as the wildebeest migrate from Serengeti, Tanzania to Maasai Mara, Kenya. The spectacle climax as the wildebeest cross Mara River, this is a life and death scenario where they have to either cross alive or get attacked by the waiting crocodiles….Detailed itinerary is as below;
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi Arrivals at Nairobi airport on board your flight. Met and greeted escorted to the all suite Nairobi safari club by Authentic Safaris ltd staff. This evening, your tour manager conducts a safari briefing in readiness for your upcoming safari. Optional dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. [Bed & Breakfast].
Day 2: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park (Flamingos)
Depart for Lake Nakuru bird sanctuary via the scenic uplands road with weather permitting, panoramic views of the Africa's Great Rift Valley 600m below. Afternoon game/bird viewing around the Lake Nakuru shores which is a seasonal home to millions of flamingoes. Overnight stay in Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. [Full Board]
Day 3: Proceed to Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast depart for the famed and Kenya finest game reserve - Maasai Mara Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. Lunch at the spectacular at your Lodge. Enjoy a swim or simply relax in this cool lodge. Late afternoon proceed on a game-viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge / Mara Sopa/ Sarova Mara Tented Camp.[Full Board]
Day 4: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in the game- filled plains of Mara. This reserve gives your the opportunities to view the big five [Lion, buffalo, leopard, elephant and rhino] as well as hippo, and abundance of the plain games. Overnight stay in Mara Simba Lodge / Mara Sopa / Sarova Mara Tented Camp. [Full Board]
Day 5: Back to Nairobi and Depart
After breakfast, leisurely drive back to Nairobi, arriving at around mid-day. Optional farewell Luncheon at the Carnivore Restaurant. Afternoon is spent on a Nairobi city orientation sightseeing tour and shopping. Overnight stay at Nairobi safari Club. [BB]Day
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, say 'Kwaheri' - a Swahili word for bye to Nairobi. Later we transfer you to the airport for your home bound/ departure flight having seen Kenya better than ever before. Bon Voyage!
